The living room maximizes the open loft feeling and maintain the existing concrete
ceilings and columns exposed. The interiors are a contemporary addition into an
existing industrial shell. The flooring reflects the industrial origin of the building
and is a wide plank European white oak that will contrast with the contemporary
kitchens, doors and walls.The kitchens by Bulthaup are a sculptural element placed
within an open loft. All cabinetry is white, matte lacquer. All appliances are Miele.


The New York Dock building was built in 1910 as one of the first cast-in-place
concrete structures. By retaining the aesthetic of the existing board-formed
concrete columns, the original details of this structure will be exposed in key
locations of the apartments and throughout the building.


The Roof Deck has been designed to produce a series of landscaped and hardscape areas for residents to enjoy views of the Harbor, Governor's Island, the
Statue of Liberty, and downtown Manhattan .The Rear Garden that spans the entire
length of the property is filled with local vegetation, gardens, and trees that
arranged in a linear pattern aligned with the column structure of the building.
