Description
This historic building was designed by architect James F. Delany in a Romanesque style in 1926. The Hospital of St. Elizabeth of Hungary occupied the building from 1928 to 1981. It was a six-story general hospital with 110 beds. Operated by Franciscan nuns for most of its history, St. Elizabeth's closed in 1981. A newly renovated Lobby and Laundry Room, Bike Storage, 2 Elevators and live-in Superintendant are some of the amenities that make living here a dream. Fort Tryon Park, Bennett Park and the Cloisters are located nearby and the building is close to the express A train, M4 and M98 express buses, shopping, restaurants, and so much more. Pets, pied-a-terres, and co-purchasing are all welcome. Limited subleasing allowed at Board discretion. Approximatey 38% of the Maintenance is tax deductible.
