A: I just want to give a plug to my friend and fellow broker Douglas Heddings who runs TrueGotham.com, another real estate blog who talks about the state of the market, dirty agent tricks, buyer tips, etc.. He has been working on a new reporting product that mixes his knowledge of the NYC real estate market, current problems/issues, and experts to provide their opinions on the topic at hand. TrueGotham TV launched today and I just wanted to bring it to your attention! Good luck Doug!
I spent alot of time playing around with the idea of investigative reporting myself until I realized how time consuming and hard work it is to produce a high quality video! Recall my reporting on The Cielo Condo & Buying With In-Building Competition. So, when I see what Doug is doing here I totally respect and appreciate the time it takes to make something like this so that buyers and sellers can get more information!

UWSIDER - right with you buddy! It will be fixed for the next version of the site.
Shhh, here is test version that is NOT hooked up to db and doesn't have nyc data, charting, debates/forum, implemented yet!

I love the chart on the right.. what would be awesome would be a price graph for manhattan (broken down by co-op, condo, sq ft) updated monthly .. this would make your site the 'goto' site to gauge the market for the average joe....

UWSIDER - you will be very happy then when the new site launches! There is a main section that is NOT on the test site yet that will offer 3-4 types of data/charting for trending manhattan real estate.
The buyer confidence chart will NOT be there right away, and is a longer term (1 yr away) partnership that I am trying to solidify, with streeteasy.com on designing a system for monitoring this dynamic. It will take us a while, but in the end, it should be worth the wait!
Hang in there, Ive put SO much time into this, and we are like 3-4 weeks away as implementing these tools properly take time. You know me after all this time, so the new site really is what Id like to see to follow the market!!
