I live in the Harlem area. 110th & 5th Ave. and we are being priced out. I don't know my area anymore. I grew up there, moved to Rockland County and back in 1979. I feel that there are pros and cons on the gentrification. The negative side is that lies were told to residents of what to expect of their housing situation. Being forced out by greed is a disgusting thing. Even the small business' that I enjoyed for more than 50 years are gone. But than on the positive there are more "police".
